The first secret that everyone should know, be they student, entrepreneur, shopkeeper or merely interested party, is that economy is a material of sophistication and of alteration of knowledge for political ends, as well as a way of guaranteeing an illiberal rather than liberal society.

Keeping this premise in mind, a historical analysis of the cognitive type will be made of economy.  Simultaneously, to a historically explanatory end, a criticism will be made of its principal points, displaying therefore how knowledge thereby generated is then manipulated in order to obtain a favourable or unfavourable point of view towards a model of liberal economy.
